Lunch by the Sea ~ Table Styling

The design of Marloe Marloe forms is inspired by the inconsistencies and intricacies of nature ~ the way the ocean moves with power yet a sense of ease, the way that rocks & shells hold a uniqueness in their individual form and the transition of colour between sky and land.

We are inspired by the idea of an intimate gathering in nature, styled using Marloe Marloe's CORE Collection and CHARCOAL Collection. Explore our two approaches to considered table styling, as styled by our team & captured seaside in Yamba, NSW.

Minimal with shades of grapefruit

- Keep forms within the same tone, contrasting fluid shapes with sharper edges. Play with height, value space & play with placement to create interest at all eye lines.

- Utilise predominantly dried fruits, in varied shades of grapefruit & deep purples. Keep the table base neutral to allow vessels & styling pop.

- Just add a cocktail and a seaside back drop.

Fresh Citrus oscillating with textures

- Use forms from both our CORE Collection & CHARCOAL Collection to create contrasting yet complimentary textural elements.

- Utilise fresh citrus fruits for colour, we recommend lemons, limes & oranges. Balance fruit with florals, native & sculptural for a feeling of connection to the land.

- Set up seaside, with flowing cottons or linens, fresh sparkling & an ocean feast for an all-occasion table-setting that'll transport you to any special moment in time.
